Founded in 2011, Bandhur Sparsha was born out of the collective vision and compassion of a group of retired, selfless employees from the State Bank of India, along with a dedicated doctor, engineer, architect, and several devoted women. Their shared goal was to extend a helping hand to children with special abilities, empowering them to live lives filled with dignity, respect, and purpose.

With a deep commitment to inclusivity, Bandhur Sparsha aims to integrate these children into the mainstream of society, ensuring they are given the opportunity to thrive as equals. We believe every child deserves the chance to shine and contribute to the world in their own unique way.

In alignment with this noble objective, Bandhur Sparsha is officially registered under the Societies Registration Act, with registration number S/IL/82694 dated 25/08/2011, granted by the concerned authority. The organization is also registered with the PWD (People with Disabilities) Department of the Government of West Bengal, under registration number ……………. .

In recognition of its charitable efforts, Bandhur Sparsha has been granted registration under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (Registration No. AACAB3698N24KL01). This allows donors to avail of tax concessions on donations made to the organization, supporting our mission to create a positive impact in the lives of specially-abled children.
